Josh Payton was born and raised in Buchanan, Michigan. He moved to South Bend in 2007 after earning his Juris Doctorate from the DePaul University College of Law. Josh graduated in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in political science from Grand Valley State University in Allendale Michigan. While at Grand Valley Josh served as a member of the Student Senate and studied at Kingston University in London for one semester.
Josh earned his Juris Doctorate from the DePaul University College of Law in 2007. During his law school career he worked as an intern for the University and was a member of the International Law Society. Since graduating from law school Josh has been in private practice in South Bend and has volunteered as coach for the John Adams High School Mock Trial Program.
Josh and his wife Tami live in the Clay Township area of South Bend. He practices out of the South Bend LAW office with his primary practice areas of civil litigation and business law.
