Michael B. McMains was born in Salem , Indiana , on January 20, 1957. Mr. McMains graduated from Purdue University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. After working in the pharmaceutical industry, he attended law school at the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis, receiving his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 1993. While in law school, he was in the Order of Barristers, President of the Student Bar Association, and Executive Editor of the Indiana International Law Review.
After graduating from law school, Mr. McMains has taught as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis since 1994 and as an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Purdue University since 2000. Mr. McMains concentrates his practice in health care law.
