Maura Hoff joined Lewis and Wilkins LLP in 2006 after receiving her J.D. from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in Ada , Ohio . Prior to attending law school, Maura earned a Bachelor's Degree in English from Centre College in Danville , Kentucky . She studied abroad twice in Strasbourg , France , observing international courts of law.

Maura served as co-counsel in 2006-2007 in the firm's representation of the Indiana Secretary of State in its cases regarding election law violations, authoring the winning brief in support of summary judgment which recovered over $350,000.00 for the State of Indiana .

Maura practices in the areas of business law, litigation, and municipal law. She currently serves as City Attorney in Lawrence , Indiana , a second-class City that neighbors Indianapolis .

In May 2008, Maura was chosen as one of the Up and Coming Lawyers in the State of Indiana by Indiana Lawyer .
