Rachel East was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. Rachel moved to Indianapolis in 2001 to pursue her undergraduate studies at Marian College after accepting both academic and athletic scholarships. Rachel graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science in psychology. During her years at Marian College, she was accepted into the Academic Honors Program, elected captain of the women’s varsity soccer team, appointed captain of the Mock Trial team, and elected President of the Pre-law Society and Vice-President of the Psychology Club. The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics named her a four time “All American Scholar-Athlete” in women’s soccer recognizing Rachel’s scholarship, athleticism, and sportsmanship.
Rachel earned her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law in 2008. During her law school career she was a law clerk in private practice and coached the Marian College Mock Trial Team. Currently, Rachel is an adjunct professor at Marian College and is a Faculty Advisor for a student professional organization.
Rachel and her husband reside in downtown Indianapolis in the Little Flower area. Rachel’s primary practice areas are civil litigation and business law.
