Josh T. Martin is a Partner at Lewis And Wilkins LLP. Josh focuses his practice on complex construction, premises liability, and serious motor vehicle accidents. He often represents clients who have been named in catastrophic accidents, including transportation and construction matters involving claims of negligent construction, design, and maintenance matters.

In 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, Josh was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyer® magazine. In 2022 and 2023, Josh was also named to be among the America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators®. He was also recognized by The Indiana Jury Verdict Reporter as tied for second among “The Most Prolific Trial Attorneys of 2022.” Lastly, for 2023 and 2024, Josh was recognized by Best Lawyers® in the field of civil defense litigation.

Throughout his practice, Josh has tried numerous bench and jury cases to verdict across the State of Indiana, with the vast majority resulting in verdicts in favor of his clients. Some of his recent jury trial wins include: a wrongful death roadway design case in Johnson County, a wrongful death and personal injury roadway signage case in Marion County, a wrongful death roadway maintenance case in Lake County, a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident resulting in a traumatic brain injury in Monroe County, a claim based on a negligently designed roadway resulting in a traumatic brain injury in Allen County, a claim for a negligently maintained roadway resulting in a traumatic brain injury in Monroe County, a roadside maintenance accident resulting in bodily harm in Morgan County, and a trucking accident resulting in bodily harm in Clay County.

Josh is originally from Munster, Indiana. He currently resides in Zionsville with his wife, their four children, and bulldog. Josh is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana, the Northern District of Indiana, and the Southern District of Indiana. Josh has served as a Board Member on the Boone County Racial Diversity Coalition and was currently appointed by the Zionsville Town Council to serve as a Committee Member on the People of Zionsville for the Aesthetics of Zionsville (PZAZ).

He received a Bachelors of Science from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, majoring in both Accounting and Management and minoring in Finance. Josh graduated with honors from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2011, earning cum laude distinction. During law school, he was also named to the Dean’s List and was a member of the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review.
